Dr Lucy Bowyer

Dr Lucy Bowyer is an Obstetrician Gynaecologist and a sub-specialist in Materno-Fetal Medicine. She completed her medical training at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and then went on to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the North East of England. She moved to Sydney in 1996 to complete a doctorate on high blood pressure in pregnancy and then went on to become a consultant at the Royal Hospital for Women in 2003.
She is also a conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of NSW, and an author of numerous publications on the treatment of medical problems in pregnancy. She consults women with complex problems in pregnancy at the Royal Hospital for Women. She brings these skills and experience to help women at Ultrasound Care.
Lucy lives with her four children and (to their delight) two dogs in the Eastern suburbs.
