Dr Lynn Townsend

Dr Lynn Townsend is an enthusiastic Obstetrician Gynaecologist. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney and was awarded the Royal North Shore Medal during her final year. Lynn also holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiology from the University of New South Wales.

Lynn is a lecturer within the Medical Faculty at UNSW and regularly teaches medical students and junior medical officers. She holds membership with a number of professional associations including ASUM and SOMANZ.

Her interests include genetic screening tests, placentae and ultrasound investigation of infertility.

Being a mother of three energetic daughters herself, Lynn has an understanding and genuine interest in all aspects of pregnancy and women’s health. Lynn is very pleased to be a part of the team at Ultrasound Care to provide individualised and comprehensive care.
