Dr Lucy Bowyer

Dr Lucy Bowyer is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and sub-specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Originally from the UK, having completed her specialisation she moved to Sydney in 1996, undertaking a doctorate of research into pre-eclampsia. She has a special interest in medical complications in pregnancy and has published several international guidelines with the Society of Obstetric Medicine in Australia and New Zealand. She brings these skills and experience to counsel patients at Ultrasound Care.
Lucy provides expert medico-legal opinions in the field of Obstetrics, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Gynaecological ultrasound.
Lucy is the mother of four children, meaning she has a vague knowledge of “brain rot” and robust self care boundaries.
