Dr Joanne Ludlow

MBChB FRANZCOG FRCOG DDU MM (Clin Epi)

Dr Joanne Ludlow is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in Gynaecological and Obstetric Ultrasound and she also works as a Senior Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) and O&G Ultrasound at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH).

She went to medical school at Leeds University in England and her initial training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology was in Leicester and London. Dr Ludlow migrated to Australia in 1993 and worked in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Perth before moving to Sydney in 2004. Dr Ludlow obtained her FRANZCOG in 1996.

She has an interest in Gynaecology, endometriosis and early pregnancy ultrasound with publications in early pregnancy complications, miscarriage, the diagnosis of endometriosis and drug use in pregnancy. At RPAH she runs an ultrasound list for the diagnosis of deep infiltrating endometriosis, is the Lead Consultant for the Early Pregnancy Assessment Service at RPAH and manages the multiple pregnancy and drug health antenatal clinics.

Dr Joanne Ludlow | Ultrasound Care

She has extensive experience in teaching and mentoring medical students, resident medical officers, registrars, senior registrars in O&G and O&G Ultrasound. Dr Ludlow also teaches Radiology Registrars in O&G Ultrasound.

She won a teaching award from the University of Western Australian when working in Perth. Dr Ludlow is a conjoint senior lecturer at Sydney University, where she also completed a Masters of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology in 2012. Dr Ludlow has served on the Training and Accreditation and State RANZCOG NSW committees. She is a member of ISUOG and ASUM and is a certified member of the International Ovarian Tumour Analysis (IOTA) collaboration. Dr Ludlow has recently been elected as a Medical Representative on the ASUM Council.

She brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to her patients at Ultrasound Care.

Dr Sarah Greenwood

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

MBBS (Hons) BSc (Med) Hons FRANZCOG DDU

Dr Sarah Greenwood is a compassionate Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) with Honours. She completed her specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training before undertaking additional fellowship years at the Fetal Medicine Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital focusing on high-risk pregnancies and Ultrasound Care.

She has a keen interest in all aspects of gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound and is an active member of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM). She is currently working as a Staff Specialist at Hornsby Hospital and has a Visiting Medical Officer appointment at Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney.

As a mother of four young children, Sarah can empathise with the issues of balancing family responsibilities and work. She is passionate about all aspects of pregnancy and women’s health and providing women with comprehensive clinical care in a caring and understanding way.

Dr Jenny Yang

MBBS (Hons I) FRANZCOG DDU MGH GWHE

Dr Jenny Yang is an Obstetrician Gynaecologist with a strong passion for comprehensive and equitable reproductive healthcare. She completed her specialist training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before pursuing further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound.

She also completed a Masters in Global Health, completed a Fellowship in Global Women’s Health and Equity with the University of Toronto based in Canada and Kenya, and has worked for Medecins Sans Frontieres in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Jenny currently works as a Staff Specialist at Liverpool Hospital and is passionate about providing quality diagnostic imaging and screening for both marginalised populations with limited access to services, as well as for everyone she meets in all aspects of clinical care which she provides. She is also passionate about improving access and provision of family planning services. She has published peer-reviewed articles in the areas of global women’s health, family planning, obstetrics and medical education, and is an enthusiastic teacher of medical students, junior doctors and obstetrics and gynaecology trainees at both Liverpool Hospital and in Kenya.

Jenny lives with her husband, daughter, cat and pug, and loves meeting and providing care for women and their families as part of the Ultrasound Care team.
