Dr Minke Burke

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Dr Minke Burke is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with an interest in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound. At Ultrasound Care Minke enjoys working with the sonographers who she feels provide the most excellent care for women in many different clinical circumstances. She also enjoys direct patient contact, whether it be through counselling or performing procedures. When not at Ultrasound Care, Minke works in her busy private practice where she looks after women in their pregnancy and manages gynaecological conditions. She is a VMO at Prince of Wales Private Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women where she teaches junior doctors, is involved in research, clinical performance and is actively involved in the birthing suite.

Minke is proud to be part of the team at Ultrasound Care given its strong focus on patient centred and up to date evidence-based care. When in the future she gets tired of running around and being up at night delivering babies she tells us she will spend more at Ultrasound Care.
