Sonographers
Our sonographers are true specialists in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound. They work closely with our sonologists and are responsible for analysing anatomical structures during the ultrasound examination to obtain detailed diagnostic images for reporting. Our sonographers are healthcare professionals dedicated to providing patient-centred care.
Rowena Gibson
Chief Sonographer
Rowena has been a sonographer for over 30 years and has been with Ultrasound Care for more than 20 years. She is passionate about women’s healthcare and leads our team of highly skilled sonographers with expert guidance.
She is actively involved in continuing professional education and participates and presents in local, state and national conferences.
In 2019 Rowena was awarded Australasian Sonographer of the Year by ASUM.
